AMANDA CONRAD - ARTIST BIOAmanda Conrad is an illustrator living in Orlando, Florida. She is known for her bold, bright colors and cute spin on pop culture icons. Aside from gallery shows, Amanda has been a Senior Designer for Hallmark since 2012. She has participated in almost 20 art shows at Gallery1988 and this is her third solo art show. Amanda's clients include Box Lunch, Disney and RSVLTS and you can find her art on Hallmark products in Walmart.
NEW RELEASE // AMONG FRIENDS
Among Friends: An artist-invited exhibition is a bit like a chain letter.
The gallery invited 5 artists to exhibit one piece each. These five artists then invited 5 artists, who then also invited five artists! In the end, the show would have featured 155 different artists, all invited by their peers.
This show was scheduled to debut in-person in Los Angeles next month, but with the closing of the gallery we sadly had to cancel the exhibit. Many of the artists had already started their pieces for the show, so we decided to move up the release before we close our doors for good.
